FAQ

FAQs – For Landlubbers and Old Salts Alike:

What can I bring?

  • Just yer campin’ chair and whatever rum, ale or fine spirit tickles yer barnacles. We’ll be providin’ all the vittles and soft drinkin’ supplies, including breakfast for those who stay aboard overnight.

What can I do to help?

  • Get there early and we’ll find ye a shipshape task! Whether it’s car park duty, pitchin’ tents or hoistin’ bunting, many hands make light work.
  • Volunteers are also needed to guard the fire. Ye’ll be handed a captain’s hat and granted full authority to keelhaul any unruly scoundrels.
  • If ye sleep aboard, lend a hand in the mornin’ to leave no trace behind.

What should I wear?

  • Whatever keeps yer timbers unshivered. Pirate garb and hats be optional but heartily encouraged. Just remember, the land be uneven and possibly muddy – wear boots fit for swashbucklin’.

What if it rains?

  • We’ve a marquee and a community room at the far end o’ the farm – we won’t be leakin’, promise.

Can we bring fireworks or sparklers?

  • Nay! The animals be no fans o’ explosions. Let’s not have a mutiny from the livestock.

Showers and toilets?

  • Aye, both be available in the community room. No need to bathe in a barrel.

Hookups for electric and such?

  • We be off-grid, matey. But should ye find yerself in desperate need of a charge, the community room’s got what ye need.

When does the voyage end?

  • There be no set time, but we must be gone with the tide by midday Sunday, leavin’ no sign we were ever ashore.

Now hoist yer spirits, polish yer boots, and prepare to set fire to the night.
